I design and make site specific stained glass using traditional techniques of staining, painting and etching.
I am also exploring new techniques to produce sandblasting masks using large photographic negatives exposed directly onto the glass.
I work alongside architects at the beginning of new builds and also design 21st.c stained glass that is sympathetic to medieval buildings and their communities.
I believe in thorough research and the importance of drawing skills.
I look to the natural world and historical artefacts for inspiration and am also interested in the spiritual dimension. I use print making and photography to inform my designs and explore ways of transferring their techniques onto glass.
My work can be seen in sacred and secular buildings in England and abroad - in churches in the Canterbury Diocese, hospitals, schools and a library.
